Part - Time Extended Care Assistant

The Rise School of Corpus Christi is seeking a Part- Time Extended Care assistant to help in our preschool facility Monday through Friday from 2:20 pm - 5:20 pm. We are the city’s first and only school dedicated to early education of children with and without disabilities in an inclusive classroom setting with on-staff speech, occupational, physical, and music therapists. The Rise School of Corpus Christi serves children ages fifteen months to six years of age in an intensive environment of early education and intervention provided to students year-round, five days a week, six hours daily. We boast a state-of-the-art facility equipped with educational technology and wealth of teaching resources. The Rise School of Corpus Christi is a Texas Rising Star Facility and has a high standard for professional growth and ongoing evaluation.

Part - Time Extended Care Assistant Requirements:

An extended care assistant at The Rise School of Corpus Christi is an exemplary educator that possesses college credit hours in early childhood, an associate degree in related field or CDA. Preference is given to a candidate with experience working with special education, early childhood education, and/or a related field. An extended care assistant must demonstrate passion, patience, creativity, flexibility, and respect. Candidate must be punctual and reliable, work well with others, and be self-motivated. All applicants will be required to complete a background check, meet minimum standards training, and complete CPR/First Aid prior to start date.
